Airkix is situated next to Chill Factor^e in Manchester, and Xscape in Milton Keynes. Both locations are easy to reach by road, rail, bus or air.

Manchester

Airkix is situated right next to the Chill Factor^e indoor ski slope, and less than four miles from the centre of Manchester. We are opposite the Trafford Centre and conveniently located just off the M60 motorway at junction 10.

Just after you come off Junction 10, head towards The Trafford Centre and take the left turn marked by a Brown Tourist sign 'Trafford Quays Leisure Village' just by the Premier Inn. You come out at a roundabout signed 'Ski Slope' to the left, follow that sign and you will see us on the left just past Chill Factore.

By Road

The snow slope is signposted from Junction 10 of the M60. We offer free parking.

By rail

There are regular main-line trains into Manchester Piccadilly station, which is in the centre of Manchester. From there you can access a connecting Metrolink tram to Stretford station. You then need to board the Metrolink Shuttle Bus which travels directly to The Trafford Centre, which is opposite Airkix and Chill Factore and is a 5 minute walk away.

Alternatively you can take a taxi from Manchester Piccadilly train station which takes 15-20 minutes and costs approximately £15.

There are also regular train services to local stations at Urmston and Salford Crescent, both of which have regular onward bus connections to The Trafford Centre bus station.

By bus

The nearest bus station is at the Trafford Centre which is opposite Chill Factor^e (5 mins walk ).

ML1: The Trafford Centre Metrolink Shuttle Bus

The Trafford Centre Metrolink Shuttle Bus is a direct, express service to Manchester’s Metrolink Tram service. The shuttle bus links The Trafford Centre to Stretford Metrolink Station and runs 7 days a week, 363 days a year, with services every 20 minutes, from early till late. One ticket will enable you to travel direct to The Trafford Centre from anywhere on the Metrolink network. Just look for the ‘Trafford Centre Shuttle Bus’ button on any Metrolink ticket machine. Airkix is then a 5 minute walk away from the Trafford Centre Bus Station.

Bus route 250

The 250 service, operated by Stagecoach Manchester, is a high frequency bus link direct to Manchester City Centre via Old Trafford. The service runs from early till late 364 days a year, every 10-15 minutes, and is provided using modern, low-floor, easy access buses.

By air

The nearest airports to Airkix are Manchester Airport (20 minutes away) and Liverpool John Lennon Airport (40 minutes away).

Directions from Manchester Airport

If using public transport, the most direct route is on the number 18 bus service runs every 30 minutes direct from Manchester Airport to The Trafford Centre which is opposite Chill Factor^e. Alternatively there are regular buses, trains and Metrolink services into Manchester city centre, with regular connections to The Trafford Centre from there.

If driving from Manchester airport, you should join the M56 motorway, then the M60 (westbound) motorway, exiting at junction 10 for Chill Factor^e.

Directions from Liverpool John Lennon Airport

If driving from Liverpool John Lennon Airport join the A5300, then take the M62 (eastbound) to the M60 motorway. Follow the M60 (westbound), exiting at junction 10.

Milton Keynes

Airkix Milton Keynes is situated at Xscape, directly adjacent to the main shopping centre.

By Road

We are easily accessible by road, and Xscape has Pay & Display parking for over 1,000 cars.

Directions

1. Leave M1 at Junction 14 and take the A509 towards Central Milton Keynes.
2. At the first roundabout take the second exit, H6 Childs Way.
3. Stay on this road over 5 roundabouts (the Xscape building is now on your right).
4. At the 6th roundabout (South Secklow roundabout) turn right.
5. At the traffic lights turn right onto Avebury Boulevard, Airkix and Xscape is on your right.

There are more than a thousand Pay & Display car parking spaces at Xscape, and the prices vary considerably depending on where you park.

Although Xscape would like to be able to offer customers free parking our proximity to the City Centre makes this impractical, as by 9am there would be no spaces left for visitors.

Once you arrive you will need to enter the building by the front or either of the two side entrances and then follow signs for the Snozone and Airkix.
